Hotel Gaudí is a comfortable three star hotel with views of the most emblematic buildings and neighborhoods in Barcelona. One of its main attractions is the location: in the immediate surroundings, you will find some of the modernist creations from the architect Antoni Gaudí. The entire building champions the spirit of this architectural movement. In fact, Hotel Gaudí dates back to the year 1964 and was recently restored, respecting its original architecture. Its interior decor is inspired by the style of this famous architect and even boasts a fountain at the hotel entrance emulating the "trencadis" style, a type of multicolor ceramic mosaic.
Hotel Gaudí provides its guests with a fully equipped exercise room, as well as a welcoming bar-restaurant with modernist decor that is open until 11PM. The first floor is occupied by a homey room with a traditional wood stove kitchen that was converted into a buffet where we serve our delicious and assorted breakfast.
Other spaces available to our clients are a reading or social room, a conference room, and a parking garage. Furthermore, the hotel provides a newspaper service, a reception area with a concierge, and free Wi-Fi in all rooms
History
The renowned architect Antoni Gaudí gives the hotel its name in that its decor as well as its structure is inspired by the modernist style his works characterize. Some of his most emblematic buildings found in Barcelona are the Casa Milà, better known as La Pedrera, the Sagrada Famila or the Palau Güell - buildings you can contemplate from the hotel since it is just across the street.
Hotel Gaudí opened its doors in 1964 with a will to receive travelers to Barcelona with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Since the very beginning, one family has owned and managed the property with care and dedication.
Since then and on a regular basis, approximately every 15 years, the hotel has been renovated and improved to offer the maximum comfort to its clients and to make their stay in Barcelona more comfortable.
"Gaudí" Meeting Room
The meeting room Hotel Gaudí offers is fully equipped and has a capacity for 30. Its location is ideal for work meetings, conferences, and lectures, in a bright and pleasant environment. Clients will also be provided with a coffee break service, allowing them to pause for coffee with sweet or salty snacks. The meeting room also contains all the necessities for this type of event: water bottles, pens, letterhead, a screen and flip chart.
